Prison famous for its vegetarian food

A prison in Bangalore bacame famous for the vegetarian food that is being served there by Hare Krishnas under contract from the prisons department. Criminals are trying to move in those who got in refuse to apply for bail. The prison houses as much as twice it's capacity. Is the food the real reason? I don't know. What I know is that all Indian prisons are overcrowded.
